Slow Start

 

2015 got off to a slow start here in Uxbridge with fewer listings resulting in fewer sales.

 

Developing Trends

 

Our market update certainly is a barometer of what has transpired in February. Very few properties have been available, this cold winter has Buyers and Sellers holding off for warmer weather. With interest rates remaining so low, and sellers preparing their homes for market, March should tell a very different story.

 

Thinking Of Selling

 

Now is the time to put your home on the market if you are thinking of moving by the end of the school year or through the summer months. Last month saw the average sale price come in at 99% of the list price. Fewer listings lead to buyer competition for many new listings coming on the market resulting in some homes selling over the asking price.
